Jueya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cipolleti the free kick. Claudio Huly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Augusto Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Nuno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Huly having to interfere. Leonardo Natal was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 25th minute Agustin Haitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Jueya's Emanuel Tajo got control of the ball when Augusto Mendebal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudio Huly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Nuno in the 32nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Cipolleti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jueya:s goal. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Jueya. Eugenio Gonsalvo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claudio Huly. 0-1. Emanuel Tajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Mendebal might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Tajo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Mendebal ran back to his position shaking his head. Agustin Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Tajo having to interfere. After the first half Jueya were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee ignored Jueya's protests and gave Florencio Lleir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Jueya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Lleir to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Haitz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Emanuel Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cipolleti. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Agustin Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cipolleti's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Tajo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Jueya's Emanuel Modestio got a free kick in the 58th minute. Augusto Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Tajo having to interfere. Jueya's Emanuel Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Mendebal in the 91st minute of play. Agustin Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Tajo having to interfere. The Jueya supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jueya would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
