Manuel Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Xacintu's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Nemesio Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pascanas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alumbrera's Higinio Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Rodas in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alumbrera's goalkeeper Higinio Ponc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Placido Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Nemesio Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pascanas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nemesio Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascanas's Manuel Lauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Pascanas from getting a goal against them. Pascanas's Manuel Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Xacintu in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match, Ezequiel Xacintu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Lauro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Nemesio Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Petrigai charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Petrigai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pascanas getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Teofilo Petrigai hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Rodas to make the kick off. With a little luck, Alumbrera's Higinio Ponc got control of the ball when Placido Rodas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Bautista got free with Higinio Ponc in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Pascanas's Orlando Quinten got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pascanas! After 80 minutes of play, Pascanas's Nemesio Bautista made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Ponc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Rodas in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Ponc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Tiburcio Pitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alumbrera's Flavio Sandaili, in the 99th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Alumbrera. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alumbrera fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pascanas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
