Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Candido Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Ellande having to interfere. Ruperto Ortzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Ruperto Ortzi made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Casomiro. Matansilla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some careless play in the Arenal AFC defense, Javier Oskarbi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Ellande. The Arenal AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Ellande should have stopped the shot. Hermengildo Chaime might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Casomiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Chaime ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Candido Valiente notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Arenal AFC's Alejandro Ellande. Alejandro Ellande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Arenal AFC's zone, Remigio Abeijon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Ellande came out of the goal and Remigio Abeijon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Matansilla FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ruperto Ortzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Oskarbi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Oskarbi in the 53rd minute of play forced Arenal AFC's goalkeeper Alejandro Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Candido Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Arenal AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Maximiliano Ekain hit a great ball. Candido Valiente's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Alejandro Ellande skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hermengildo Chaime struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Gaspar Casomiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arenal AFC. Ruperto Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Casomiro having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Alejandro Ellande successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Javier Oskarbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alejandro Ellande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Fausto Umea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arenal AFC and the Matansilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Arenal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Umea. Matansilla FC's Cosme Ferrer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arenal AFC. A collision led to Matansilla FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Candido Valiente hit a great ball. Candido Valiente succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 73rd playminute. After 77 minutes, Remigio Abeijon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matansilla FC and the Arenal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Hermengildo Chaime got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaspar Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Ortzi in the 84th minute of play. Gaspar Casomiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Javier Oskarbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Arenal AFC's Isaias Procopio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Candido Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matansilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Valiente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Matansilla FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
