Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damaso Porfirio started the match with the kick off. Epifanio Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Porfirio in the 4th minute of the match. Epifanio Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Porfirio in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Faro got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Egun. Damaso Porfirio struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Epifanio Mannie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coghlan. If Luis Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Octavio Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coghlan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Dorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Faro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Damaso Porfirio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ariel Orlondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Octavio Dorio came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Coghlan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Dorio couldn't finish the play. In the 24th play minute Octavio Dorio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Epifanio Mannie. 1-0. The supporters of Faro booed when Coghlan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Porfirio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faro's Epifanio Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Porfirio in the 28th minute of play. Epifanio Mannie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Dorio in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Luis Llope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octavio Dorio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Epifanio Mannie made a huge save. In the 38th minute, Octavio Dorio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Mannie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Faro's Luis Llope got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Octavio Dorio came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Coghlan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Dorio couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Faro's Godofredo Marcones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Orlondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Marcones to make the kick off. Coghlan's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Godofredo Marcones 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The supporters of Faro booed when Coghlan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Porfirio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Mannie having to interfere. Faro's Epifanio Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Dorio in the 65th minute of play. Roque Hotz charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Hotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Coghlan getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Roque Hotz hit a great ball. Godofredo Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ariel Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Oriche's late challenge caught a Faro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Oriche helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Oriche hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Godofredo Marcones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Faro booed when Coghlan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jesus Oalo in the 86th minute. After 91 played minutes Coghlan got a freekick which was hit by Luis Oriche. Luis Llope took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Orlondo. Ariel Orlondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
