Donato Locaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Celipe having to make a save. Urbano Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Celipe having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Sumampa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Kaxen came free, but Atilano Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Donato Locaio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sumampa AFC's Atilano Celipe. Atilano Celipe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Moises Pudes fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sumampa AFC's protests and gave Moises Pudes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sumampa AFC's Moises Pudes got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Ieltxu in the 22nd minute of play forced Garsa FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Mundo in the 23rd minute of the match. If Donato Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Hernan Mundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vladimiro Abechuco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marciano Abadie charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Abadie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Garsa FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marciano Abadie hit a great ball. Marciano Abadie hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Fabricio Ieltxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vladimiro Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Garsa FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marciano Abadie hit a great ball. Hernan Mundo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Abechuco. Vladimiro Abechuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Sumampa AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urbano Kaxen to make the kick off. A collision led to Sumampa AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Moises Pudes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbano Kaxen in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Celipe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Mundo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Abechuco saved Garsa FC from getting behind. Fabricio Ieltxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vladimiro Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Locaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Fabricio Ieltxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernan Mundo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vladimiro Abechuco came out and tried to block the shot, but Hernan Mundo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 71st minute. Vladimiro Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Ieltxu got free with Vladimiro Abechuco in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hernan Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sumampa AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
