Camilo Jaen ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabricio Ieltxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Baltasar Jax made a huge save. Atilano Celipe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Quintan went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Julian Quintan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilano Celipe was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Quintan in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilano Celipe saved Sumampa AFC from getting behind. Atilano Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Jaen in the 30th minute of play. Camilo Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Celipe having to interfere. The supporters of López booed when Sumampa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Moises Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sumampa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Pudes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in López's zone, Fabricio Ieltxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Jax came out of the goal and Fabricio Ieltxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Amadeo Beltxe hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Sumampa AFC's Atilano Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Jaen in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Quintan was the one to do the kick off. López's Baltasar Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Mundo in the 53rd minute of play. Arsenio Cheche's late challenge caught a López's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Cheche helped the player get up and apologised. Arsenio Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, López's Anastasio Lehen tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Sumampa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Cheche to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Jaen scored 0-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Celipe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julian Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Celipe having to interfere. If Camilo Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Celipe made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Camilo Jaen sent off a good shot on target. After 97 played minutes Sumampa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Cheche. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Jaen got free with Atilano Celipe in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
