Rivera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casilda AFC the free kick. The supporters of Casilda AFC booed when Rivera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Charro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Celio having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Casilda AFC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Nazario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Abastas. Amador Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Enzo Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Abastas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Celio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Amador Oriche's late challenge caught a Rivera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Oriche helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Casilda AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Amador Oriche hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Rivera got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Breogan. Orlando Breogan got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Rivera getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Orlando Breogan hit a great ball. Silverio Sanduru kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Honesto got free with Rodolfo Nazario in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Casilda AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Mino to make the kick off. Rivera's Florentino Oliverios got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Enzo Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Abastas in the 59th minute of play forced Casilda AFC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Prejun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simon Celio. Rivera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jacinto Mino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casilda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Mino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Celio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Mino struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Simon Celio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casilda AFC. The supporters of Rivera booed when Casilda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Prejun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Casilda AFC's Anastasio Erramun got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Rivera's Simon Celio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Mino in the 78th minute of play. Serafin Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Serafin Abastas was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Rivera's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. A long shot from Alfonso Prejun in the 95th minute of play was well struck, but Simon Celio made a really good save at the right post. With his leg Simon Celio managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Casilda AFC's Lucio Bidari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Casilda AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
