Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Guernica AFC's zone, Edgardo Bazil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Dantel came out of the goal and Edgardo Bazil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Dantel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Arixo's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. If Tomás Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Garaile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niguil FC's Tomás Arixo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Edgardo Bazil in the 27th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Romeo Garaile took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonas Gonza to make any attempt to save it. After 37 minutes of play, Niguil FC's Edgardo Bazil made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Dantel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the game, Zacarias Frasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niguil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guernica AFC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Niguil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Frasco to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Arixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Dantel having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Bazil to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Tomás Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niguil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Arixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Dantel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquilino Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Evelio Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Gonza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Feliu went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jonas Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aquilino Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Guernica AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Galindo couldn't finish the play. Tomás Arixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Pastor Dantel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquilino Galindo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jonas Gonza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guernica AFC. Romeo Garaile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute Romeo Garaile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
