Primitivo Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Natalio Chabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Tomas Liberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Cai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Elida's Gerardo Montrell got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elida's goalkeeper Natalio Chabier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 18 in the game by Bernabe Clis from a close distance when the talented Natalio Chabier managed to make a qualified save. Elida's players were relieved. Natalio Chabier made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bernabe Clis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Valente in the 22nd minute of play forced Elida's goalkeeper Natalio Chabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Chabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Bernabe Clis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Elida's Natalio Chabier. Natalio Chabier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elida's Tomas Liberto got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leopoldo Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Elida's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Valente came free, but Natalio Chabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leopoldo Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Erroman to make the kick off. Paltoroa's Aurelio Cai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Paltoroa from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Paltoroa booed when Elida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Solustiano, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Bernabe Clis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Pierres during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Apolo Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Isaac Solustiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Chabier skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute, Hilario Poz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Chabier having to interfere. Bernabe Clis struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Natalio Chabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paltoroa. In the 80th minute, Manuel Paskal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernabe Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Chabier having to interfere. In the 97thth minute of the game Leopoldo Erroman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paltoroa's Aurelio Cai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Elida players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
