Rene Cristofor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Gabriel Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Dennehy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gabriel Gorosti fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gabriel Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Reynaldo Oliveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacinto Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Jacinto Haritzeder fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Reynaldo Oliveiro, passed just outside the right post. After 32 minutes, Braulio Maore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dennehy and the Moreno AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Braulio Maore kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Dennehy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Moreno AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Moreno AFC's Romulo Cresenciano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Reynaldo Oliveiro. Leo Ihintza took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Cristofor. Rene Cristofor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Nemesio Bixintxo put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Reynaldo Oliveiro. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Cordarell made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gabriel Gorosti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dennehy's Reynaldo Oliveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Gorosti in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dennehy's Albino Pere got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Gorosti in the 58th minute of play forced Dennehy's goalkeeper Reynaldo Oliveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermengildo Ixidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Moreno AFC's zone, Leo Ihintza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Cristofor came out of the goal and Leo Ihintza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hermengildo Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Arnalt during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Moreno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Arnalt. Gabriel Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Reynaldo Oliveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Dennehy got a freekick which was hit by Leo Ihintza. Gabriel Gorosti scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Oliveiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dennehy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Moreno AFC.
