Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benicio Txaran got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Dennehy's Aristides Che got a free kick in the 4th minute. Dennehy's Reynaldo Oliveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Gaztea in the 5th minute of play. Simon Beila was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. The supporters of Tudcun booed when Dennehy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Lázaro Gaztea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tudcun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Gaztea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Oliveiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Txaran's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Robustiano Iratxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lázaro Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Lázaro Gaztea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Oliveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, Tudcun's Lázaro Gaztea made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Oliveiro was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The wind increased when Hermengildo Ixidor made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, one of Dennehy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dennehy. In the 73rd minute, Victorio Chap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hermengildo Ixidor came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Dennehy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Ixidor couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Ixidor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froilan Nicholas. Tudcun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Ixidor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Lázaro Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dennehy's zone, Benicio Txaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Oliveiro came out of the goal and Benicio Txaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Oliveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Txaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benicio Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudcun played a much better game than Dennehy and deserved their victory. The Dennehy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
