Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santo Rocio started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Mercedes AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Ortle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Lizardi. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Galvan FC's Teodosio Miro in the 4th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Augusto Ortle was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mercedes AFC through an amazing save. Augusto Ortle made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Eusebio Lizardi sent off a good shot on target. In the 6thth minute of the game Teodosio Miro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mercedes AFC's Augusto Ortle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eusebio Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Augusto Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodosio Miro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Ortle having to interfere. After some careless play in the Galvan FC defense, Vinicio Orlin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Formerio. The Galvan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Formerio should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Guaberto Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Augusto Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mercedes AFC's Vinicio Orlin got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor Inko kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Santo Rocio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vinicio Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Galvan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Inko to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Mercedes AFC got a corner. Galvan FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guaberto Ellande ran over to the corner to take the kick. Guaberto Ellande made a great header on Mercedes AFC's corner, it was just that Galvan FC's Mariano Formerio managed to reach the ball for a save. 46 minutes into the match, Mercedes AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Ortle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Lizardi. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Mercedes AFC's Alfredo Thomas got a free kick in the 50th minute. Galvan FC's Mariano Formerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Galvan FC from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Santo Rocio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Formerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After 64 minutes, Arturo Gotzon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galvan FC and the Mercedes AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galvan FC! After a defensive mix-up in Galvan FC's zone, Santo Rocio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Formerio came out of the goal and Santo Rocio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Ortle having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Mercedes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Miro came free, but Augusto Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Teodosio Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Mercedes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Ellande to maneuver through the defense. Galvan FC's Eusebio Lizardi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosio Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Lizardi in the 92nd minute of play forced Mercedes AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mercedes AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galvan FC.
