After 11 minutes, Venancio Inge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marengo FC and the Sansinena FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute Amadeo Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Natal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marengo FC's Bernabe Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Fanuco in the 17th minute of play. Basilio Eleazar made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Aquilino Alonso sent off a good shot on target. Marengo FC's Manuel Herauso got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Marengo FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Venancio Inge hit a great ball. Basilio Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Astigar in the 26th minute of the match. Amadeo Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bernabe Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Aquilino Alonso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Basilio Eleazar. The goal made the score 1-0. Basilio Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Astigar in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Marengo FC's Aquilino Alonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basilio Eleazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Elias Fanuco made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Marengo FC's Bernabe Natal got control of the ball when Elias Fanuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Fanuco in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Natal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Antonio Beti fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sansinena FC's protests and gave Antonio Beti a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio Beti kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Sansinena FC's Elias Fanuco got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernabe Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Fanuco in the 74th minute of play. Marengo FC's Bernabe Natal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Marengo FC from getting a goal against them. Luis Astigar took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Eleazar. Basilio Eleazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Bernabe Natal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Beti's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Aquilino Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Venancio Inge was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Marengo FC's Venancio Inge got a free kick in the 94th minute. Amadeo Maureo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernabe Natal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marengo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
