Malvinas's Jose Veto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Malvinas from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Sansinena FC's Elias Fanuco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jose Veto. Jose Veto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Romeo Etxepare notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sansinena FC's Basilio Eleazar. Basilio Eleazar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jose Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Fanuco in the 17th minute of the match. Sansinena FC's Basilio Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Etxepare in the 20th minute of play. Malvinas's Jose Veto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Fanuco in the 25th minute of play. Amadeo Maureo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Jose Veto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Malvinas's goalkeeper Jose Veto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeo Maureo. Elias Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Veto having to interfere. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Omar Paz hit a great ball. The Sansinena FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malvinas were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ariel Tono was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sansinena FC's goalkeeper Basilio Eleazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Gilberto Txaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Eleazar made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Romeo Etxepare sent off a good shot on target. Jose Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Maureo in the 60th minute of the match. Jose Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Fanuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Malvinas's Romeo Etxepare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basilio Eleazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 74 played minutes, Malvinas's Santo Llanos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basilio Eleazar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malvinas reached it. Basilio Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Tono in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, one of Sansinena FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sansinena FC. Romeo Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Basilio Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Malvinas's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Maureo came free, but Jose Veto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Luciano Elodio hit a great ball. Elias Fanuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Fanuco in the 99th minute of play. The Malvinas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Malvinas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
