Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciriaco Ceandro took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Ciriaco Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Ceandro scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Prejun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Froilan Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Faro having to interfere. The supporters of Candelarias booed when Chacras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Pelayo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Ceandro scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Prejun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Prejun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Abascal in the 29th minute of play. Ciriaco Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Prejun having to interfere. Chacras FC's Jimeno Abascal got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Candelarias's zone, Jimeno Abascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Prejun came out of the goal and Jimeno Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candelarias's Vicente Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Ceandro in the 46th minute of play. Jimeno Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Ekain was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Froilan Lastur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ovidio Faro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 57 played minutes Chacras FC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Hanni. Chacras FC's Jimeno Abascal got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Abascal got free with Vicente Prejun in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Prejun was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Apolo Goiz. If Ciriaco Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ovidio Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Ekain in the 87th minute of play forced Chacras FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Chacras FC's Jimeno Abascal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Prejun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ovidio Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
