Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gavino Baristo got the match started through his kick off. When Teodosio Manex fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concepción FC's protests and gave Teodosio Manex a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Teodosio Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Concepción FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cesar Librado in the 6th minute. The corner ended in Cesar Librado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colana's Jonathan Sedeni did a great save. Gaston Kelemen charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Leon Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Gavino Baristo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leon Mercurio. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Arnoldo Iturri's late challenge caught a Concepción FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Iturri helped the player get up and apologised. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Concepción FC's Leon Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Unai in the 54th minute of play. Gavino Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Cristobal Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepción FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leon Mercurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Unai might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Mercurio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geronimo Unai ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Colana's zone, Cristobal Olo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Sedeni came out of the goal and Cristobal Olo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Gavino Baristo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Concepción FC's Leon Mercurio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Concepción FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Baristo came free, but Leon Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
