Federico Salbatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Henrico in the 6th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Claraz's corner Domingos Inko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Federico Salbatore quite easily take care of the ball. In the 9th minute, Vladimiro Aimar made a precise shot to the right of Federico Salbatore. Baudrix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luciano Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Federico Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Baudrix's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Henrico came free, but Federico Salbatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nicolas Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Solustiano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The supporters of Claraz booed when Baudrix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Eleazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Eleazar was the one to do the kick off. Luciano Henrico struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Federico Salbatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Claraz. Luciano Henrico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Cresconio in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Solustiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolas Bazil was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Claraz's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Eleazar in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Solustiano saved Claraz from getting behind. Luciano Henrico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Federico Salbatore made a huge save. Ramon Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jairo Solustiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Henrico scored 2-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Salbatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Luciano Henrico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Claraz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
