Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vinicio Geofredo kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Barrancas booed when Fernández AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes in the game, Vinicio Geofredo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 5th minute, Teobaldo Gaxan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barrancas! If Vinicio Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Rodrigo Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fernández AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Cresenciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Sugoi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Barrancas's Honorio Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Cristos in the 19th minute of play. If Vinicio Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancas's zone, Filomeno Cristos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Cresenciano came out of the goal and Filomeno Cristos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 minutes, Federico Orlandus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fernández AFC and the Barrancas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vinicio Geofredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejo Romelio having to make a save. Rodrigo Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Cresenciano having to interfere. Filomeno Cristos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Geofredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Romelio having to interfere. When Rodrigo Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fernández AFC's protests and gave Rodrigo Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fernández AFC's Rodrigo Rubio got a free kick in the 40th minute. Vinicio Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Barrancas's Vinicio Geofredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filomeno Cristos made a kick off. Filomeno Cristos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute, Nicanor Hermelando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes of play Fernández AFC's Federico Orlandus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Federico Orlandus hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Felix Llanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Romelio having to interfere. A collision led to Fernández AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Pablo Ekialde hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Fernández AFC defense, Vinicio Geofredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Romelio. The Fernández AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Romelio should have stopped the shot. When Rodrigo Rubio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Fernández AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Rubio couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Teobaldo Gaxan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Honorio Cresenciano, passed just outside the right post. Alejo Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Geofredo in the 93rd minute of the match. Rodrigo Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Honorio Cresenciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrancas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fernández AFC for a fine match.
