Lázaro Napier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 35th minute, but Basilio Frederico got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Médanos FC hanging dry this time. 42 minutes into the match, Médanos FC's goalkeeper Basilio Frederico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Transito. Apolo Transito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Basilio Frederico made a huge save. Basilio Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Napier struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Siro Inge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Médanos FC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Aresti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Siro Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Fagondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Lisandro Aresti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Harri in the 59th minute of the match. Raul Fagondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Inge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Apolo Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Traili's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Frederico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lisandro Aresti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Médanos FC's Severo Guillelmo got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Severo Guillelmo off the ground. In the 72nd match minute, Médanos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Guillelmo to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Aresti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Traili's Siro Inge got control of the ball when Lázaro Napier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lázaro Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Inge having to interfere. Médanos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
