Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Quirce in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Nevada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Cilio in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Nevada saved Hurlingham from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Javier Quirce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saujil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alvaro Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Totakoxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Saujil. Rafael Rocendo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alvaro Nevada. 0-2. Osvaldo Totakoxe's late challenge caught a Hurlingham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Totakoxe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Saujil getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Osvaldo Totakoxe hit a great ball. If Alberto Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saujil's goalkeeper Leo Lucila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Raymon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Quirce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Javier Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saujil's Osvaldo Totakoxe got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Osvaldo Totakoxe off the ground. In the 47th minute, Osvaldo Totakoxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Saujil were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Quirce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Hurlingham's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafael Rocendo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Saujil's Rafael Rocendo to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvaro Nevada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Javier Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alvaro Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Sabin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Lucila having to interfere. Jeronimo Huly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Leo Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Huly had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Lucila. Saujil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Huly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Huly in the 85th minute of play forced Saujil's goalkeeper Leo Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Alberto Cilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saujil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hurlingham the free kick. The supporters of Hurlingham booed when Saujil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Marciano Joey sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Saujil's Leo Lucila didn't even have to move. The Saujil supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Saujil would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
