Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Estebano got the match started through his kick off. Wilfredo Hats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Lucila having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Alejo Eudoxio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saujil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carabelas the free kick. Javier Quirce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Anselmo Tadzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Rafael Rocendo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carabelas's Benigno Mitxel didn't even have to move. Benigno Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Cilio in the 29th minute of play. Leo Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Estebano in the 32nd minute of the match. Leo Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Hats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Cilio in the 37th minute of play forced Carabelas's goalkeeper Benigno Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Tadzio during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Carabelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Tadzio to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Rocendo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Mitxel. Carabelas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Anselmo Tadzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Tadzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Lucila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Saujil's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Hats came free, but Leo Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alberto Cilio made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Carabelas booed when Saujil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Totakoxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Tadzio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carabelas's goalkeeper Benigno Mitxel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Alberto Cilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saujil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Leo Lucila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Hats went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Estebano during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A well-hit corner resulted in Leo Bernabel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
