After a defensive mix-up in Manantial's zone, Godfredo Pancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Lizbeth came out of the goal and Godfredo Pancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Evaristo Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Lizbeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Montrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The Galvan AFC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Galvan AFC's Godfredo Pancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vladimiro Lizbeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Pancho in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Nestor Crescencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galvan AFC's Godfredo Pancho got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Godfredo Pancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galvan AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Pancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Lizbeth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Pelayo in the 67th minute of play. Fidel Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute Cristo Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Nestor Crescencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
