Anibal Crescencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 12 minutes, Adan Markel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florentino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Markel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Florentino's Ambrosio Canor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anibal Crescencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Anibal Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Markel in the 16th minute of the match. Eusebio Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Melchor Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Saucelito's Orlando Guillelmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchor Maurin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute Orlando Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Brion's late challenge caught a Florentino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Brion helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Jacobo Brion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Guillelmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Orlando Guillelmo made a precise shot to the right of Melchor Maurin. Florentino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Markel in the 62nd minute of play forced Saucelito's goalkeeper Anibal Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Saucelito's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Markel came free, but Anibal Crescencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Maurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Guillelmo in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Saucelito's goalkeeper Anibal Crescencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Canor. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Florentino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
