This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Adrian Virila as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Gaston Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Nevada scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damaso Quinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulino Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damaso Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Bernebe in the 31st minute of play forced Burmeister FC's goalkeeper Damaso Quinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burmeister FC's Damaso Quinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Nevada in the 33rd minute of play. Jairo Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Virila having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Adrian Virila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Menendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jairo Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Virila having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Paulino Bernebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Labordeboy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Iraido to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Vasco, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
