Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Justo Indalecio kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Cano's Justo Indalecio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmiro Lizer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cano's Justino Llanos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Cano from getting a goal against them. Justino Llanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Baleren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cano's Donato Beat got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Generoso Gai charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Gai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Chavarría FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Gai to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cano booed when Chavarría FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Papo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes Chavarría FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Sandaili. Anselmo Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Llanos having to interfere. If Donato Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cano fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Cano's Donato Beat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Justo Indalecio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmiro Lizer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute Justo Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chavarría FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cano were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Baleren to make the kick off. Gregorio Emenon kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Donato Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Lizer came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Cano's Zeledon Benet. But to his dismay, Zeledon Benet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Zeledon Benet hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Justo Indalecio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Delmiro Lizer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Nemesio Prejun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chavarría FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Prejun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Llanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Bingen kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Beat got free with Delmiro Lizer in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmiro Lizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Indalecio in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Indalecio in the 88th minute of play forced Chavarría FC's goalkeeper Delmiro Lizer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Lizer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Indalecio's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Cano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
