Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Herradura's Pascual Lucila started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elvio Peio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A hard shot 15 in the game by Juan Maiorga from a close distance when the talented Zacarias Tartalo managed to make a qualified save. Tionso FC's players were relieved. Felix Domeka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Guillen in the 19th minute of the match. Eulalio Guillen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Domeka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Lucila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Tartalo having to interfere. When Tionso FC's Lucio Turi in 35 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Felix Domeka guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Tionso FC's Lucio Turi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucio Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Felix Domeka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Turi to strike the kick off in the second half. Zacarias Tartalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Lucila's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Feliciano Elixio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Pascual Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gregorio Argenis fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tionso FC's protests and gave Gregorio Argenis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Gregorio Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Herradura's Silvestre Raphael broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tionso FC's Zacarias Tartalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Lucila in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tionso FC's Gregorio Argenis got a free kick in the 86th minute. Felix Domeka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Juan Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Tartalo having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
