Algarrobal's Urbano Lando got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Rafel in the 17th minute of play. Algarrobal's Simon Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Rafel in the 19th minute of play. If Feliciano Illart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robustiano Rafel to make the kick off. Chillar AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Ascencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliciano Illart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Feo having to make a save. Simon Matthew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Ascencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Chillar AFC's Jairo Feo got control of the ball when Feliciano Illart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feliciano Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Feo having to interfere. In the 95th minute Robustiano Rafel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
