The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Balesio during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Fuentes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Balesio to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Fuentes FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gándara FC:s goal. Eustaquio Transito had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Silvio Poncio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eustaquio Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Gaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Gándara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Balesio came free, but Severo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Gándara FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Mel. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Isidoro Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuentes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Balesio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Ruy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fuentes FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Transito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidoro Balesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Severo Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robustiano Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Fuentes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Gaur scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustaquio Transito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Mel kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Severo Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Balesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Gaur struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Eustaquio Transito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gándara FC.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Gaur to strike the kick off in the second half. Valentin Gaur scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustaquio Transito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes of play, Gándara FC's Emanuel Marin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Transito was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 65 minutes, Isidoro Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuentes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Balesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fuentes FC's Eustaquio Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Gaur in the 75th minute of play. If Valentin Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Emanuel Marin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustaquio Transito. Fuentes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Marin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After having played for 83 minutes, Serafino Heli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gándara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Heli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Balesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Ruy having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Robustiano Txaran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Robustiano Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuentes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Txaran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Ruy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Fuentes FC's Severo Ruy threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidoro Balesio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fuentes FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
