The supporters of Miraflores AFC booed when Juanillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Seguinus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fabio Buinton fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miraflores AFC's protests and gave Fabio Buinton a yellow card for diving instead. Fabio Buinton kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Geronimo Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Desiderio Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Beila in the 7th minute of play. Eriberto Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Fausto Orzaize shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Desiderio Eskuin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Desiderio Eskuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Valerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, Miraflores AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Fertus to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Juanillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Orzaize. Miraflores AFC's Emiliano Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Rio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eriberto Bela charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Bela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Miraflores AFC's Eriberto Bela got a free kick in the 40th minute. A nice corner shot did that Fausto Orzaize got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Desiderio Eskuin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Enzo Beila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Desiderio Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Eli was the one to do the kick off. Miraflores AFC's Desiderio Eskuin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Miraflores AFC from getting a goal against them. Desiderio Eskuin made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Enzo Beila sent off a good shot on target. Emiliano Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 64 minutes, Fulgencio Fertus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miraflores AFC and the Juanillo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Geronimo Valerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Rio took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerardo Larpe. Gerardo Larpe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 77th minute, Geronimo Valerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Beila got free with Desiderio Eskuin in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Miraflores AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Clemente Lando hit a great ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Emiliano Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraflores AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Rio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfonso Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Desiderio Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Eskuin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Beila in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Miraflores AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Juanillo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
