Miguel Tabby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Leonel Sabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Baumer in the 16th minute of the match. Batea's Leonel Sabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Cresconio in the 19th minute of play. Aquiles Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The attack was good, but when Aquiles Baumer in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Miguel Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Tohias in the 34th minute of play. If Aquiles Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Tohias to strike the kick off in the second half. Placido Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Amador Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Baumers short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Leonel Sabino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Batea. Aldo Bemabe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Tabby. 2-0. Salado's Miguel Tabby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Abel in the 70th minute of play. Batea were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Salado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aldo Bemabe took the corner. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salado's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aldo Bemabe was slow to take the kick. During this time Batea's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Baldomiro Txerran managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Elpidio Tohias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Miguel Tabby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Garikoitz in the 81st minute of the match. Elpidio Tohias took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Tabby. Miguel Tabby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Batea's Placido Abel got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batea's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
