Tuisón AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oscar Luken might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Celio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Luken ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Abarca in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Celio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Lomitas AFC's goalkeeper Armando Laurgain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Urdin. Luisito Celio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Luken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Laurgain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Urdin in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lomitas AFC's zone, Fausto Urdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Laurgain came out of the goal and Fausto Urdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Romeo Dolfos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuisón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Dolfos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Amador Liher fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lomitas AFC's protests and gave Amador Liher a yellow card for diving instead. Amador Liher kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Leandro Amato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuisón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Amato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Amato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luisito Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Luken in the 52nd minute of play. Augusto Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Celio having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Augusto Abarca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tuisón AFC's zone, Oscar Luken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Celio came out of the goal and Oscar Luken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Luisito Celio managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Lomitas AFC's Augusto Abarca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68thth minute of the game Oscar Luken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tuisón AFC's Luisito Celio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Gaueko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuisón AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lomitas AFC the free kick. 72 minutes into the game, one of Tuisón AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tuisón AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Celio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lomitas AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
