Guaberto Cefero might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Brion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Cefero ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gabriel Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Gabriel Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Guillerme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The audience was convinced that Guaberto Cefero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Brion was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Pucará's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Gartzea came free, but Gonzalo Guillerme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
