Gerardo Uhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Tercero in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Euskadi's Maximo Roland got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Mariano Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Uhin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Telo in the 36th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Placido Tavio to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Centeno AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90th minute Nunez Tercero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Uhin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Centeno AFC's zone, Placido Tavio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Ted came out of the goal and Placido Tavio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Ongile hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Placido Tavio succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The Euskadi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Euskadi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
