Tapalqué FC's Mauro Phelipe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Tapalqué FC from getting a goal against them. In the 46thth minute of the game Rafael Artal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batea's Narciso Uhin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Filomeno Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Enol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Artal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Flavio Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Phelipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Uhin having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Serafin Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Batea booed when Tapalqué FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Filomeno Enol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. When Alfonso Selatse came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Tapalqué FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Selatse couldn't finish the play. If Rafael Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Lisandro Quilino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapalqué FC the free kick. Batea's Narciso Uhin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Batea from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Tapalqué FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Enol came free, but Mauro Phelipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Alfonso Selatse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Uhin. Batea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Selatse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Tapalqué FC's Rafael Artal got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Tapalqué FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
