Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Florentino Luix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Rafael Artal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Selatse got free with Florentino Luix in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonso Selatse took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Luix. Florentino Luix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Tapalqué FC's Rafael Artal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florentino Luix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfonso Selatse might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Luix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Selatse ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Florentino Luix came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tapalqué FC's Santos Loi. But to his dismay, Santos Loi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Florentino Luix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Artal in the 61st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tapalqué FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Aldao a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Teodoro Abeitia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tapalqué FC's Mauro Phelipe. 2-1. After 80 minutes, Fabio Erdiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldao and the Tapalqué FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aldao's Fabio Erdiano got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Aldao's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Selatse came free, but Florentino Luix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Faro in the 82nd minute of play forced Tapalqué FC's goalkeeper Mauro Phelipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Alfonso Selatse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Luix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
