After 22 played minutes Balboa FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Ospetsu. A hard shot by Gavino Librado from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Jose Maria's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 24 minutes into the match, Vedia's Hermengildo Gutxi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Maria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Gerazan struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nestor Tauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balboa FC. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Gudesteo made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Balboa FC's goalkeeper Jose Maria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Gonzalo Sugoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vedia getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dario Larra hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Gabriel Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Danilo Gudesteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balboa FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
