An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Onofre in the 3rd minute of play forced Sacanta's goalkeeper Nicanor Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hinojo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sacanta the free kick. After 7 played minutes Hinojo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Munio. If Felipe Quilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Rosalio charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Felipe Quilo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Urdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Enrique Roano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Antonio Urdin made a huge save. 24 minutes into the game, Felipe Quilo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antonio Urdin. Felipe Quilo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Quilo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sacanta booed when Hinojo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Godofredo Santo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hinojo AFC's Antonio Urdin didn't even have to move. In the 68th minute Felipe Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sacanta fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Sacanta's Felipe Quilo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Javier Soin's late challenge caught a Hinojo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Soin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Javier Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Aurelio Oskarbi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
