Honorato Frederico charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Frederico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute Esteban Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Virgilio Dantae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 41st minute of the match Virgilio Dantae completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Virgilio Dantae a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Virgilio Dantae hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Esteban Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Eulalio Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Iker Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Encina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anfama the free kick. If Esteban Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Frechoso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Katia in the 75th minute of play forced Encina FC's goalkeeper Eulalio Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Sancho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eulalio Frechoso. Encina FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Anfama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Anfama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
