Edgardo Ellande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uriel Cilio kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Eriberto Pitin came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Sarmiento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Pitin couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Porfiro charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Porfiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saturnino Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sarmiento's Benito Abeita tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Eriberto Pitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Jakue was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Ellande in the 30th minute of play forced Anfama's goalkeeper Ruperto Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Pitin in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Eriberto Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Joachim struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Amado Argi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anfama. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Joachim got free with Amado Argi in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sarmiento getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eduardo Hug hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eriberto Pitin was the one to do the kick off. Amado Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Sarmiento:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Anfama:s goal. Amado Argi had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Gaston Sancho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 59th minute, Eleuterio Oso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Amado Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Mateo Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Sarmiento's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Joachim came free, but Amado Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eriberto Pitin came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Sarmiento fans jumped to their feet. When Saturnino Porfiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the last second Ruperto Jakue throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eriberto Pitin in the 73rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Eriberto Pitin didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-1 via right post in the game's 73rd minute. Sarmiento's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Mikeldi during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Esteban Joachim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Argi was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Edgardo Ellande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sarmiento's Amado Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Joachim in the 90th minute of play. If Edgardo Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sarmiento's Eriberto Pitin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruperto Jakue. That made the score 0-2 after 96 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Sarmiento left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Anfama.
