Segundo Jerrold's late challenge caught a Quiñihuao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Jerrold helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Quiñihuao booed when Sarmiento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Jerrold didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Higinio Rocendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Lordi was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Rodas was the one to do the kick off. Quiñihuao's Agustin Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Rodas in the 54th minute of play. Godofredo Herauso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Esdras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Sarmiento's Cipriano Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Dalmau in the 80th minute of play. Godofredo Herauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Dalmau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cipriano Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Sanchez hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sarmiento getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gualterio Ebardo hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quiñihuao fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sarmiento had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
