One of Tabossi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ballesteros FC:s goal. The referee gave Ballesteros FC a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Everardo Sansone, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tabossi's Severo Teofilio. 0-1. Fernan Hurko got in the 14th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Severo Teofilio handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Pastor Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 17 minutes, Felix Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabossi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Fidensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everardo Sansone charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Everardo Sansone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. Godfredo Erlantz had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Gonzalo Giro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Gonzalo Giro did an outstanding performance 26 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Godfredo Erlantz in the goal. Nicanor Lalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severo Teofilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Hurko came free, but Severo Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Erlantz having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Fidensio made a kick off. Felix Fidensio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 70th minute, when Ballesteros FC's Hernan Gregory after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Severo Teofilio in Tabossi's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Severo Teofilio was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Nicanor Lalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicanor Lalla really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 81 minutes into the game, Aurelio Senio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballesteros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabossi the free kick. The supporters of Tabossi booed when Ballesteros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Senio didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 83rd minute of the match Aurelio Senio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aurelio Senio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aurelio Senio hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ballesteros FC's Godfredo Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Rafe in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute Anier Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pastor Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ballesteros FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Tabossi's much stronger midfield.
