In the 5th minute, Santos Izel made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Remicio. Gil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Saul Indalecio came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bilisman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Indalecio couldn't finish the play. If Santos Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Enrique Berbiz managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Gil's Roberto Gorka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Enrique Berbiz made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Roberto Gorka sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Eriberto Mel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eriberto Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Berbiz having to interfere. Mateo Remicio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Indalecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bilisman's Santos Izel in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gil's goalie prevented a goal. If Saul Indalecio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roberto Gorka came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Gil fans jumped to their feet. Rogelio Ederono hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Eriberto Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Berbiz having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Mel made a kick off. Gil's Mateo Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Izel in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, one of Gil:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Enrique Berbiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Mel in the 71st minute of the match. If Roberto Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Soter's late challenge caught a Gil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Soter helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Bilisman:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gil:s goal. 2-2 came in the 76th minute when Placido Cordarrell all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Enrique Berbiz. If Saturnino Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bilisman booed when Gil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Ponciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Gil's goalkeeper Mateo Remicio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Indalecio. Gil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Santos Izel scored to the left of an out of position Mateo Remicio, making the score, 2-3. After 89 minutes of play, Bilisman's Saul Indalecio made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Remicio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Gil booed when Bilisman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 102 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Indalecio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
