The referee ignored Mojón's protests and gave Sergio Pagomari a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mojón's Sergio Pagomari got a free kick in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Incendio during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, one of Mojón:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mojón. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Malvinas AFC. Mauro Abajas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Placido Polo. 0-1. Ruperto Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Ler in the 13th minute of the match. Horacio Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Markel having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Aaron Ler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruperto Markel, 1-1. Placido Polo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Larra went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Mojón booed when Malvinas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malvinas AFC's goalkeeper Ruperto Markel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruperto Markel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Pio in the 30th minute. In the 34th match minute, Malvinas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Ubendu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Malvinas AFC's Ruperto Markel got control of the ball when Horacio Pio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Placido Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Larra in the 39th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aaron Ler made the kick off in the second half. Carolo Mede struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Placido Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malvinas AFC. 58 minutes in the game, Denis Larra fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Placido Polo having to interfere. Aaron Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Larra in the 75th minute of play. If Carolo Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Larra might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Polo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Larra ran back to his position shaking his head. If Denis Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mojón's Placido Polo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Mojón from getting a goal against them. After 93 played minutes, Mojón's Roman Incendio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruperto Markel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mojón reached it. Aaron Ler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Markel having to interfere. Malvinas AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
