After the first half Angualasto were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Gudesteo made a kick off. With his leg Matias Medardo managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Angualasto's Nestor Ilixo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ildefonso Gudesteo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Medardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Ilixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Matias Medardo made a huge save. If Nestor Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ildefonso Gudesteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, one of Angualasto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Angualasto. The referee gave Esquina FC a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matias Emeterio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Angualasto's Rodrigo Bembe. 1-3. Ildefonso Gudesteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 played minutes Esquina FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Azibar. Angualasto played a much better game than Esquina FC and deserved their victory. The Esquina FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
