Esquina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Baleren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Esteban Eneas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adrian Otsoa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Baleren got free with Adrian Otsoa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Esteban Eneas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Adrian Otsoa to make any attempt to save it. Matias Medardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Umbruso in the 26th minute of the match. If Marcelo Umbruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Ildefonso Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Esquina FC's Esteban Eneas in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bosques AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Nunez Baleren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Otsoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Nunez Baleren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Adrian Otsoa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Umbruso in the 47th minute of play forced Esquina FC's goalkeeper Matias Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Umbruso made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Modesto Giro put in a rough tackle. In the 61st minute, Luisito Abajas made a precise shot to the right of Matias Medardo. Esquina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. One of Esquina FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bosques AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Bosques AFC's Reynaldo Leheren got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matias Medardo. In the 100th match minute, Esquina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Esquina FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bosques AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
