In the 9th minute, Venancio Veto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Papagayos's Roque Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Gipuzkoa in the 13th minute of play. Casimiro Mambru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiburcio Ordono went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Ladislao Cordarryl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Checa during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Papagayos got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Checa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Gipuzkoa in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Llorian saved Papagayos from getting behind. A hard shot 34 in the game by Ladislao Cordarryl from a close distance when the talented Roque Llorian managed to make a qualified save. Papagayos's players were relieved. The supporters of Vázques AFC booed when Papagayos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Llorian having to interfere.

53 minutes into the match, Papagayos's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Cordarryl came free, but Roque Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Ordono got free with Casimiro Mambru in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lucio Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vázques AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Gipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Llorian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the game, Serafin Chesus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papagayos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vázques AFC the free kick. In the 75th minute, Serafin Chesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Vázques AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Veto came free, but Casimiro Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Papagayos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
