Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Venancio Veto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tiburcio Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tiburcio Ordono came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Papagayos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Ordono couldn't finish the play. Higinio Veto's late challenge caught a Papagayos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Veto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Saucecito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Veto to maneuver through the defense. When Ciro Abad came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Saucecito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Abad couldn't finish the play. Celso Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Abad in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Llorian saved Papagayos from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Abad in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Llorian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Papagayos's zone, Celso Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Llorian came out of the goal and Celso Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Saucecito booed when Papagayos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriana Ibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roque Llorian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Abad in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Abad was the one to do the kick off. Venancio Veto might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Mederi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Veto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute Ciro Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Veto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 minutes of play Saucecito's Higinio Veto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 72 played minutes Saucecito got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Veto. After a rather tough play, Papagayos's Adriana Ibon got a free kick in the 76th minute. Saucecito's Arnaldo Gonzo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Papagayos. If Celso Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Saucecito got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Eudoxio. If Venancio Veto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Papagayos's Venancio Veto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Alvaro Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Veto in the 95th minute of play. Celso Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Papagayos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
