When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Enrique Laurin sped through Sorento FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucio Claris. Enrique Laurin charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sorento FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sorrento had won, even though Sorento FC had held more of the ball.
