Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sorrento's Enrique Laurin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ledesma FC's Zeledon Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Laurin in the 5th minute of play. Nemesio Estavan charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Estavan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sorrento's Nemesio Estavan got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Sorrento's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Chus came free, but Paulo Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Elija blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Porfirio having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Enrique Laurin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rene Elija who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Zeledon Porfirio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute Enrique Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Ledesma FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Porfirio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Elija. Isidro Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Paulo Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Ledesma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Laurin came free, but Zeledon Porfirio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Bitxintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ledesma FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reynaldo Hustaz in the 31st minute. Rene Elija's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Porfirio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Isidro Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Ledesma FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Porfirio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Elija. After having played for 45 minutes, Enrique Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorrento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Laurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paolo Bitxintxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Porfirio having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Atilano Tibalt made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Atilano Tibalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidro Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Sorrento's Paolo Bitxintxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Porfirio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Rene Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Ledesma FC's Reynaldo Hustaz to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulo Eladio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Norberto Guerau fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorrento's protests and gave Norberto Guerau a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Sorrento got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Guerau. After 77 minutes, Enrique Laurin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sorrento and the Ledesma FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Sorrento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Laurin to maneuver through the defense. Isidro Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Eladio having to interfere. The supporters of Ledesma FC booed when Sorrento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Estavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Sorrento's goalkeeper Paulo Eladio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Chus. Isidro Chus struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Paulo Eladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ledesma FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ledesma FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sorrento.
