Limarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Bidari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Atilano Caradaro came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Limarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Caradaro couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Eliseo Bidari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ceibal getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jeronimo Goizeder hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Eliseo Bidari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Caradaro in the 14th minute of the match. Eliseo Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Gustau having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Limarna's zone, Timoteo Min stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Sagrario came out of the goal and Timoteo Min tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Min got free with Jonas Sagrario in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Limarna's Jonas Sagrario got control of the ball when Timoteo Min tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Sagrario having to interfere. Limarna's Jonas Sagrario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Tonete in the 30th minute of play. A hard shot by Jonas Chesus from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Jonas Sagrario's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Limarna's Jonas Sagrario got control of the ball when Timoteo Min tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Caradaro in the 36th minute of play forced Ceibal's goalkeeper Nicasio Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Limarna's Ermegildo Baumar got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some careless play in the Ceibal defense, Eliseo Bidari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Gustau. The Ceibal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Gustau should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
If Atilano Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Eliseo Bidari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Gustau. Ceibal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Bidari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Limarna getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Adan Naike hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lorenzo Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceibal's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Tonete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Sagrario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the game, Timoteo Min cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jonas Sagrario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilano Caradaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceibal's Nicasio Gustau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Ceibal from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Bidari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Ceibal's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Caradaro came free, but Nicasio Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Min in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Sagrario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Limarna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
